I'm happy I'm not the only one who discovered the "Monocle Vampire Juice" Strategy. It's even funnier when you have vampires cannibalize each other. Fun game though!
Kitten+Spiders (+monocle+juice when available). Buy Capacity whenever possible unless you have to pick between it and a broom/wing. Buy all brooms (you probably will never see a wing). Buy +1 items and use them on the kitten if you have extra money. For relics, you want Scepter (+6 to kitten), scales(+4$ per round), lips (+1 point per round per consumable ever used), and eventually the shopping cart. You can use the last slot for whatever. Rerolling after picking an item gives you an extra item choice-- this is very good but you want to be careful about having enough money to get any good consumables that show up (and/or charms), so I wouldn't reroll if it would put you with less than 3$ early, and preferably not less than 5$. Rope(+magnet), camera, and parrot can all be back-up spiders. Kittens are pretty common and you want only ever exactly 1. Take utility items (monk, magnet, juice box) or cheap points (cow, milk, cheese, joker) early if there's nothing good. Use the brooms you buy on your gold coins ASAP. If the kitten is the only 2-cost item you have, getting your +4$/round is basically free.
I love the core concept, it reminds me of a boardgame I really like. And I love the amount of juice. I wish it would save my progress so I could continue playing later
Great game, I managed to overflow into negatives before having to hand in points. After attempting to hand them in they slowly increased to 0 after which I got softlocked (grayed out hand in button).
Possibly intended mechanic that got me to overflow
When you double points with a monocle, they revert after a transmog. This is not the case when the item is eaten by a vampire. They are quite rare, but I cloned them with the consumable. Combined with juices and monocles I could 16 384x the points per vampire.
However after I kept a vampire with permanent stats about -2^63 it got reset to 0 without affecting my points. Maybe the first time it was due to parrots?
Other than that there is an inconsistency where most active effects can affect themselves (including bomb and transform), but broom cannot destroy itself.
I’d also appreciate an option to speed up animations, though that’s only necessary only after you get enough points to stop caring about rounds. Skipping a round takes a long time even if you leave the board empty. Though perhaps this is just an issue with there being a single (mostly consistent) strategy that is exponential while other strategies are not at all
I think it's fine, only took a few minutes to figure it out. It's obviously a prototype and is labeled as such, I don' think it deserves that kind of hate. I'm sure it'll get a tutorial if they choose to continue developing it.
you are just thrown in with out knowing what the objective is or what things do. this was personally really frustrating for me. and i had to look up a video on how to play it.

Great game, I can only win with the cat strat, it started with buffing it + spider to send it back and forth, until I could clone or find more monocles for doubling its value.
Excellent prototype. I did notice a few issues during my playtime: - Coin doesn't work. Console error is showing "Error: Invalid item id: Coin" from file core/variant/variant_utility.cpp:1023. No cash is earned when scored. - Softlock in the shop happens infrequently but at-random, where the proceed button no longer works. Might have something to do with rerolls.
Very inspired design overall, taking inspiration from existing score-like games but with a fun, distilled twist on it. Would love an .exe version with save slots!

The game is great, but if you reach a massive amount of money your items stop generating money.
If you reroll the shop it fills spaces you emptied

yea but its still hard, i also figured it out afther watching a video, but the only way to grow is to buy more slots, something i didn't know
